We collect and use information where reasonably necessary to operate The Long Dog Retreat and provide safe and appropriate care. This may include:

• Managing enquiries, registrations, Meet & Greets, bookings and payments.
• Assessing a dog's suitability and providing appropriate care.
• Maintaining vaccination, health, medication and emergency information.
• Contacting owners, emergency contacts or authorised collection persons when required.

5. Photographs and Social Media

Photographs and videos of a guest dog will only be used for The Long Dog Retreat's website, social media or promotional purposes where the owner has provided consent. Owners may contact us if they wish to withdraw that consent for future use. Withdrawal will not necessarily affect material already lawfully published before the request was received.

6. Storage and Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information may be held electronically or in physical records and may also be held by service providers used by The Long Dog Retreat.

Records will be retained only for as long as reasonably required for care, business administration, legal, insurance or record-keeping purposes, after which they will be securely deleted or disposed of where appropriate.
